Why have a Shop Hop?
What is the purpose of a shop hop you may ask or in fact what is a shop hop? These events are here to bring together our quilting community new and old!
The shops in the Central Oregon area love to bring together their customers for a fun opportunity to win gift certificates and a grand prize, plus a chance to adventure outside of their favorite stores! All the shops in the area have their own unique style of what they bring to the quilting community and carry different items than their counterparts, which is wonderful because as we all know not every store can buy every item in the quilting world (even though we all secretly wish they could).
These events are really about customer appreciation and having fun! We all encourage you to bring your friend’s quilters or non-quilters!
We give you all two days to travel the routine of five shops, Madras to Prineville, Prineville to Bend, or vice versa whichever suits your traveling needs. We encourage you to explore what they have to offer. (Plus find great deals!)
Every quilt shop hop involves a passport with a list of shops that are participating in the event. We have them in print form at each shop, just make sure you grab one at your first stop! The goal is to visit all of the shops on the list and collect stamps at each one.
At the end of the event, participants turn in their passports to be entered into our prize drawings. All the shops involved go in together for grand prizes! Be sure to fill out all the information on your passport, incomplete ones will not be turned into the drawing!

Find Your Inspiration!
The shop hop is the perfect opportunity to discover new quilt shops and meet other quilters in the area. Each quilt shop has its own interests. No two are alike. Each has a different mix of fabrics and classes! The inspiration is endless! The shops enjoy displaying new ideas or remakes of older trends with the fabric lines you love or had no idea about! These events are definitely the time to give yourself the motivation to finish those projects you have set aside to start something new!

The Quilt Basket
With 6,000+ bolts of quality quilting fabrics, they carry a large number of designer, contemporary, and reproduction lines, & carrying a wide array of pre-cuts, notions, patterns, and books. Hosting fun informative classes & workshops, allowing customers to expand their skills and connect with fellow quilting fanatics. If you haven’t been in yet, their friendly staff would love to show you around!
Cynthia's Of Bend
This 2nd generation family-owned & operated store is a quilter’s paradise, with a vast selection of sewing machines from some of your favorite vendors like; Janome, Brothers, Baby Lock, Handi Quilter, & more! When it comes to having top-notch quilting machines, quality machine repair, & classes they have your back! With a cozy atmosphere and personalized service make shopping here a real treat!
Sew Dee-Liteful
This delightful little shop is a hidden gem for any quilting hobbyist, offering a wonderful selection of fabrics, patterns, and supplies that cater to both seasoned quilters and beginners alike. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always eager to offer guidance and advice on projects or techniques!
The Quilt Shack
Talk about country charm and tons of energy! Always greeted with a smile, this charming shop is a haven for quilting enthusiasts, offering a wide range of high-quality fabrics, patterns, and supplies. They offer in-store and online shopping for our customers. For a small, but sizable shop, they have over 3,000 bolts of fabric & offer classes year-round!
Anvil Sewing
From basic sewing techniques to advanced, there is something for everyone at this vibrant studio, featuring Bernina sewing machines, classes, fabric, & providing full services for machine repair & rental. Whether you are looking to learn a new skill or simply want to get inspired by beautiful fabrics, this is the perfect place to indulge your passion for sewing!

What is a Shop Hop?
A shop hop is an event sponsored by a group of quilt shops encouraging participants to visit all of the shops hosting the event.
What do you do on a Shop Hop?
- Pick up a ‘passport’ at your first stop we have them available at every shop no matter where your journey begins.
- Make a plan, check the maps, and put all of the data in your GPS. Grab a friend or a group and hit the road!
- Try to visit each shop in the hop. Get your passport stamped. Fill out door prize slips at each shop.
- Have lunch in between your shop hop adventure, each city has restaurants, and/or pack a lunch!
- Explore the shops, and look for the qualities and offerings that make each shop unique.
- Turn in your completed passport at your last stop. MAKE SURE YOU FILL OUT EACH SECTION OF YOUR PASSPORT TO ENTER THE DRAWINGS!
Most Importantly Have a great time!

Get your passports stamped at each store when completed you will be entered into our store prizes and GRAND PRIZE is a Brothers PS500 Pacesetter sewing machine valued at OVER $1,000!
